Managing the Sync Schedule

Managing when your instance of Patch My PC Cloud syncs with our App Catalog

Important

When you onboard to PMPC Cloud, we note the time of your browser session. We then use this to calculate the default time our sync job runs to check that any apps you have deployed using PMPC Cloud are up-to-date.

By default, the sync job runs daily at 2 AM, based on your onboarding browser session time.

Important

The Sync Schedule is not affected:

  • By the country you selected when onboarding to PMPC Cloud, unless we cannot detect your browser time.

  • If you change the country in the Company page of the portal.

The Sync Schedule allows you to set a different time and frequency for the sync job to run.

To set a different time or frequency for the sync job:

  1. Navigate to Settings | Sync Schedule.

  2. On the Sync Schedule page, make the required changes, then click Save.

    The Success – Sync Scheduler updated notification is displayed.

Other Frequencies

If you choose the Weekly option, as well as the time the sync runs, you can also choose which days it runs on.

If you choose the Monthly option, as well as the time the sync runs, you can also choose to run it on a specific day of the month or a recurring pattern.
