# Sharing an Advanced Insights Custom Dashboard

*Applies to: Patch My PC Advanced Insights*

When creating or editing a Custom Dashboard, if the user has **Create Public Dashboards** permissions, the dashboard being created can be shared with individual users or assigned to an existing role.&#x20;

To give access to additional roles and/or users when editing a Custom Dashboard, you can use the section at the bottom of the editor page to grant access.

Custom Dashboards can also be assigned to roles and users in the Administration node for example, to add a custom dashboard to a Role:
