Inviting a new user

To Invite a new user to your Patch My PC tenant, follow the instructions below

  1. Navigate to Settings > Users

  2. Select Invite user

  3. Populate the required information: First Name, Email Address & Role, and then click Invite.

Full Admin: Full Admins can manage all aspects of Patch My PC Cloud Services, including Custom Apps, Publisher and Intune connections, Company settings, Branding and, if access management rights are enabled, access requests for other users.

Custom App Admin: Custom App Admins can create, modify and delete custom applications, but cannot create or edit Publisher and Intune connections, Company settings, branding or manage access requests.

  1. You will be redirected to the Invitations page, where you can see all pending invites and action them accordingly

  2. On this view, you will be able to cancel the invitation, resend the invitation email or copy the link that your invited user needs to follow to accept their invitation.

Copying and sharing the invite link is useful for when you invite a user that does not have a mailbox associated with their Entra ID account, for example an admin account.

  1. Once your invited user has accepted their invite, you will see them under the Active view.

Users requesting access

When an account that exists within your Entra ID tenant tries to log in without being invited, they will be prompted to request access to a Patch My PC tenant that is associated with your domain

To manage these access requests, follow these steps.

  1. Navigate to Settings > Users > Pending Approval

  2. Find the pending invite that you wish to action and select either Accept or Reject

  3. If Accepted, you will be prompted to choose a role for that user

  4. If Rejected, you will be prompted to confirm that rejection
