'Updates' Page for Advanced Insights for Intune

Note
The Updates page is only available in Advanced Insights for Intune, which requires an Enterprise Premium license.
Software Update compliance reporting is a major feature of Advanced Insights for Intune. The Patch My PC (PMPC) Client performs a compliance scan against the full PMPC Catalog and the Microsoft Updates service each day and returns the result to your PMPC Company.
Compliance data is shown for all updates, whether deployed or not.
The Updates page itself is split into the following sections:

Also, only devices running the Patch My PC (PMPC) Client will appear on this page. See Manage Client Deployment for more details on deploying and managing the PMPC Client.
Statistics
The top row of the Updates page is called Statistics and displays information about the PMPC Client (Client) and apps within your environment.
When you click a statistic, the device list modal for that statistic opens, displaying more information.
Latest Patch My PC Catalog Version
The latest PMPC catalog version and a count of the devices that have scanned this catalog. The catalog is updated daily, sometimes multiple times per day, so it is not unusual to see a low count represented soon after catalog release.
The device modal for this statistic lists the versions of our catalog in your environment, with a device count for each and the last scan date.
Clicking a catalog version displays more detailed information for each Client running this version.
If devices are running a significantly out-of-date version of the catalog, it may be necessary to investigate any potential issues with the Client.
Patch My PC updates with pending installations
PMPC updates with pending installations. The device modal for this statistic lists the name of the update and the number of devices that are missing the update.
Clicking an update displays more detailed information about the update, such as computers where the update is to be installed.
Devices with pending updates
Any devices with either missing PMPC or Microsoft updates.
Clicking a device name displays more detailed information about the device and which updates it is missing.
Microsoft updates with pending installations
Any devices that are missing updates as a result of the Microsoft Updates scan.
Clicking an update displays more detailed information about the updates, such as which devices it is missing from, the user name, etc.
Compliance
The compliance section on the Updates page shows the following three compliance reports:
Patch My PC Update Compliance
The Patch My PC Update Compliance report lists PMPC update compliance for updates categorized as either critical or security. The table lists overall compliance for each update.
Note
By default, superseded updates are hidden; click the Show Superseded Updates toggle to display them. This feature can be especially useful for tracking compliance of frequently updated applications, such as Chrome.
For each update, we show the number of:
Compliant devices
Devices still needing this update
Devices that have not yet submitted scan data for the catalog, which includes this update.
Clicking an update shows more detailed information, including detailed metadata for the update.
Note
By default, only devices requiring the update are listed. Other statuses (such as Present, Not Applicable or Unknown) can be shown by clicking the Show All Statuses toggle, which can be useful for tracking compliance of frequently updated applications, such as Chrome.
Patch My PC Update Compliance by Device
The Patch My PC Update Compliance by Device report is a duplicate of the same report shown on the Home page.
Microsoft Update Compliance
The Microsoft Update Compliance for all Client devices report allows you to track device compliance for all objects published to Microsoft Updates.
Note
This includes drivers and firmware, where applicable.
Clicking an application shows more detailed information.
