Disconnect a Connection

Applies to: Patch My PC Cloud and Publisher

You can disconnect a Connection from the Patch My PC (PMPC) Cloud Portal if it is no longer required:

Disconnect Intune

To disconnect an Intune connection from the Patch My PC (PMPC) Cloud portal:

  1. Navigate to Settings | Connections

  2. On the Connections page, click the red disconnect icon () beside the Intune connection you want to disconnect.

  1. Review the Disconnect Intune dialog box to ensure you fully understand that this is a one-way action and the consequences of continuing.

  1. If you want to continue, you need to type the word DISCONNECT in the Confirmation field then click Disconnect

Note

You have type the word DISCONNECT in all caps for the Disconnect button to become available.

The Intune connection is deleted, and the Success - Intune disconnected notification is shown.

Disconnect Publisher

To disconnect a Publisher connection from the Patch My PC (PMPC) Cloud portal:

  1. Navigate to Settings | Connections

  2. On the Connections page, click the red disconnect icon () beside the Publisher connection you want to disconnect.

  1. On the Are you sure you want to disconnect <publisher_connection_name> dialog box, click Yes to confirm the deletion.

The Publisher connection is deleted, and the Success - <publisher_connection_name> deleted notification is shown.
