Add a Template

Important

This documentation is for a pre-release feature still under development and, therefore, incomplete. As a result, both functionality and documentation are subject to change.

Once this feature is released, it will be announced and this banner removed.

To add a new Template:

1. Navigate to Settings | Templates

2. Click Add Template in the header.

3. Select the relevant OS for which this template will apply.

4. On the Add Template screen, enter a unique name for the template in the Template Name field.

5. On the Configurations page, configure the various configuration settings for how you want apps that use this template to be deployed.

If any configuration options mentioned on the Configurations section are missing from the Templates page, it is probably because the specific feature(s) the option relates to has not been enabled in your PMPC Cloud company.

1. Click Next to move to the Assignments page.

2. On the Assignments page, click Add Assignment and select the relevant assignment type from the dropdown.

3. Configure the assignments to be used when deploying an app using this template.

1. Click Save to save the Template.

The Templates page is redisplayed along with the Success - The template “<template_name>" has been successfully created notification.

You can create up to a maximum of 50 templates.
