Ability to Switch Themes

Clicking the Theme control at the bottom of the screen lets you switch between modes (such as light and dark) to find the one that suits you best.

New Stats View

When you access an app view, we have added a new Stats View at the bottom of this window(toggled by using the stats view button (1) on the toolbar).

The green stats are installers and the others are groups of our right-click options.

Clicking any of these stats filters the catalog to display only items that match the selected stats.

When you access an app view, you can now use advanced Filtering to make it easier to search for apps and their settings.

Available filters include:

  • Any (no filter)

  • Must have

  • Must NOT have

New Grid View

The new grid view not only lets you choose how you view the apps, but also shows useful app-specific information on each app’s card (including optional grouping to group all variants of an app into a single card).

New Copy Products

Now, when you click Copy Products, you are prompted which tab you want to copy the selection to. Previously, the copy destination depended on which tab the copy form control was clicked from.

Integrated Popups

In the current release of Publisher, many of the views and options are pop-ups. Where possible, these have now been integrated into the main form.

In the majority of cases, the functionality has not changed; the change is purely cosmetic.

For example, in the current release of Publisher, Intune Options are shown as follows.

This is how Intune Options appear in the New UI release of Publisher.

Note

Some views and options (like the CVE Import Wizard) will still open as a pop-up, but you can move the pop-up and use them alongside the main Publisher window.

Separate Product Tabs

In the New UI version of Publisher, our Catalog Products and Custom Products have been split out into separate tabs, even in the tree view. This makes it easier to find and work with the product relevant to your environment.

Separate Alerts Pages

Alerts have now been split into two separate pages to make them easier to work with and to eliminate the scroll bar.

Show Dependencies

You can now view (via a new icon) any dependencies the app may have, based on our metadata for each supported product.

This is also available in the Tree View:
