# Updating MEM Patching Optimizer

Clicking **About** gives you a new window showing information about the MEM Patching Optimizer
### Updates
If a newer release of the MEM Patching Optimizer is found, you will see the Latest Version title display the new release version number listed.
Additionally, you will see Close & Update become clickable, this will close the MEM Patching Optimizer and kick off the updater.
There are also links to the latest version release notes and this documentation linked in the About window.
