# “Need admin approval” message when connecting to Intune from Cloud

*Applies to: Intune Apps for Cloud*

### SYMPTOMS

I am trying to onboard to Intune Apps for Cloud (Intune Apps). I’ve signed in and clicked **Connect** to connect my Intune tenant, expecting to see the **Permissions requested** dialog box, but instead, I get the **Need admin approval** dialog box stating:

**Patch My PC LLC needs permission to access resources in your organization that only an admin can grant. Please ask an admin to grant permission to this app before you can use it.**\ <br>

### CAUSE

This problem occurs because, as the message states, your Entra ID account is not a Global Administrator. As a result, you cannot consent to the PMPC Cloud application on your behalf.

### RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, ensure you are completing this process using a **Global Administrator** account to create the enterprise app.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.patchmypc.com/patch-my-pc-cloud/troubleshoot/environments/need-admin-approval-message-when-connecting-to-intune-from-cloud.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
